In this energetic role, you will support skilled drillers by preparing equipment, assisting with site setup, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help drive successful drilling projects, contributing to infrastructure development and construction excellence. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with heavy equipment and construction tools in a fast-paced environment. Duties Assist drillers with setting up drilling rigs and related equipment on construction sites Operate and support heavy machinery such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, and dump trucks under supervision Conduct routine inspections of drilling tools and machinery to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance Support site preparation activities including material handling, site clearing, and equipment positioning Follow safety procedures diligently while working around horizontal drilling rigs, tankers, paving machines, and other construction equipment Help maintain a clean and organized work environment by managing tools and materials efficiently Collaborate with team members to execute project tasks smoothly and meet operational deadlines Skills Strong mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment setup and troubleshooting Experience operating heavy construction equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, and dump trucks Knowledge of construction site safety protocols and procedures Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or ability to obtain one for operating various vehicles on-site.
