Water Well Driller

Agri Industries is seeking an experienced Water Well Driller to join our team. This position is responsible for the safe and efficient drilling, construction, installation, and maintenance of water well systems. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, experience operating drilling equipment, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Key Responsibilities Site Preparation & Setup Prepare job sites and ensure all equipment, materials, and safety measures are in place before drilling begins. Transport, set up, and inspect drilling rigs and support equipment. Drilling Operations Operate drilling rigs and related equipment to drill water wells according to project specifications and industry standards. Monitor drilling conditions and adjust procedures as necessary to ensure safe and efficient operations. Casing & Sealing Install well casing and sealing materials to protect groundwater quality and ensure proper well construction. Verify compliance with applicable regulations and company standards. System Installation Assist with the installation of pumps, pressure systems, and related water well components. Perform system testing to verify proper operation. Maintenance & Troubleshooting Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on drilling equipment and tools. Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues in the field to minimize downtime. Documentation Maintain accurate drilling logs, service records, and project documentation. Complete required reports and communicate project status to supervisors and customers. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Previous water well drilling experience preferred. Mechanical background and equipment operation experience required. CDL preferred. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check. Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds. Ability to climb, bend, kneel, and work around heavy equipment. Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Ability to work extended hours and travel to job sites as needed.
