Diamond Driller Helper Mineral Exploration Drilling Elko, NV

SCION Drilling LLC is hiring Diamond Driller Helpers for upcoming mineral exploration drilling programs located south of Elko, Nevada. These roles support experienced drillers operating diamond core drilling rigs on mineral exploration programs and involve remote field work on a rotational schedule . Previous drilling experience is preferred but not required. Candidates with mining, heavy equipment, oilfield, construction, mechanical, or labor experience are encouraged to apply. Individuals looking to build a career in mineral exploration drilling are welcome. Multiple positions are available with programs scheduled to commence late March / early April , with potential for ongoing work across additional exploration projects. SCION Drilling operates exploration drilling programs across the western United States and focuses on safe operations, high core recovery, and well-run drill programs. Responsibilities Assist drillers with daily diamond core drilling operations Handle drill rods, core barrels, and drilling equipment Support rig setup, tear down, and drill site preparation Assist with mixing drilling fluids and maintaining water systems Load and organize drill rods, tools, and supplies Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of drilling equipment Handle core boxes and assist geologists with core management Maintain a safe and organized drill site Requirements Ability to work 12-hour shifts in remote field environments Strong work ethic and ability to perform physically demanding work Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn drilling operations Ability to follow safety procedures and work as part of a drilling crew Spanish-speaking candidates are welcome to apply provided they have legal authorization to work in the United States Drug & Alcohol Policy SCION Drilling maintains a zero-tolerance drug and alcohol policy .
