Join the Team as a Construction Driller! Empire Fiber is seeking a Construction Driller within the following areas: Prattsburgh, NY | Corning, NY | Naples, NY | Bath, NY Are you someone who enjoys hands-on work, operating heavy equipment, and being part of projects that build and strengthen communities? We are seeking a hardworking and safety-focused Construction Driller to support our underground construction and infrastructure projects. This position plays a critical role in installing underground utilities and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and with quality workmanship.

What You'll Do:

Operate drilling equipment and support underground utility installation projects Perform directional drilling and bore operations in a safe and efficient manner Assist with locating existing underground utilities prior to drilling Set up, maintain, and inspect drilling equipment and job sites Work alongside construction crews to complete underground fiber and utility installations Read and interpret construction prints, maps, and utility layouts Ensure all work is completed according to safety standards and project specifications Troubleshoot field challenges and adapt to changing job site conditions Maintain accurate documentation and daily project updates Perform routine maintenance on drilling equipment and tools

What We're Looking For:

Strong mechanical aptitude and equipment operation skills Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and field conditions Safety-focused mindset with attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a crew Strong communication and problem-solving skills Experience with directional drilling, underground construction, or utility installation preferred CDL or equipment operation experience is a plus Valid driver's license required Why Join Us? Pay Range:
