Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Directional Driller to join our dynamic construction and infrastructure team. In this vital role, you will operate specialized drilling equipment to precisely steer underground boreholes for utility installation, pipeline projects, and other underground infrastructure. Your expertise will ensure accurate directional control, safety, and efficiency throughout the drilling process. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects that make a tangible impact on community development and infrastructure growth. Responsibilities Operate and manage directional drilling equipment with precision, ensuring accurate alignment and depth control for underground installations Interpret technical plans, blueprints, and survey data to guide drilling operations effectively Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks on heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, tankers, and paving machinery Coordinate with team members to prepare work sites, set up drill rigs, and ensure all safety protocols are followed during operations Monitor drilling progress continuously; troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly to minimize delays Maintain detailed records of drilling activities, equipment usage, safety inspections, and project milestones Adhere strictly to safety standards and environmental regulations while operating heavy machinery on construction sites Requirements Proven experience operating heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, tankers, and paving machinery Strong mechanical knowledge of construction equipment and ability to perform basic repairs or troubleshooting as needed Valid commercial driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with excavator or similar heavy vehicle operation preferred Hands-on construction site experience with familiarity in horizontal drilling techniques and underground utility installation Ability to read technical drawings and interpret survey data for precise directional drilling Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and construction environments Physical stamina to work outdoors in varying weather conditions; ability to lift heavy materials when necessary Join our team as a Directional Driller and be part of innovative projects that shape communities!
