The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating drilling equipment and machinery, ensuring safe and efficient drilling operations. This position requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation, as well as adherence to safety protocols and regulations. Duties Operate drilling rigs such as 2022 Geoprobe 3100 GT, 2024 Geoprobe 3135 GT, CME 55 and 2018 Diedrich D50. Rock coring, mud and air rotary will be a primary service line for your assigned drill rig. Conduct pre-operation checks on equipment to ensure functionality and safety. Safely operate water trucks as needed during drilling operations. Monitor drilling progress and make adjustments as necessary to optimize performance. Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion. Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance as required. Requirements CDL Class A is a must. Proven experience in drilling equipment operation, particularly in the gotechnical sector. Familiarity with drilling techniques, and pipeline marks. Strong understanding of safety protocols, including OSHA regulations. Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Able to pass a background check.
