Primary Responsibilities Assist the driller with mobilizing, setting up, and operating geotechnical drilling equipment. Handle drill rods, augers, sampling tools, and other drilling materials. Assist with collecting soil and rock samples, including split-spoon and Shelby tube samples. Label, organize, and properly store samples for laboratory testing. Perform manual labor, including lifting, loading, cleaning equipment, and maintaining the work area. Help complete daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance. Follow company safety procedures and the directions of the lead driller. Travel to project locations throughout the DFW area and surrounding communities. Minimum Qualifications Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to lift approximately 50 to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding outdoor work. Willingness to work in varying weather and site conditions. Dependable transportation and consistent attendance. Ability to follow instructions and work safely as part of a team. Flexibility to work early mornings, extended hours, and occasional weekends. Previous drilling, construction, equipment operation, or general labor experience is preferred but not required.
