In this vital role, you will support the operation of water well drilling equipment, move equipment and machinery from site to site, assist with construction , and ensure safety and efficiency on job sites. Your mechanical skills, construction experience, and commitment to safety will help us deliver reliable water solutions while maintaining compliance with federal construction safety regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in heavy equipment operation and construction utility work within a fast-paced environment. Duties Assist with the setup, operation, and maintenance of water well drilling machinery and related construction equipment such as excavators, loaders, dozers, backhoes, graders, water trucks, and dump trucks Support the safe transportation of equipment and materials to and from job sites using your CDL for commercial truck driving Conduct routine inspections and perform basic maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance Operate heavy equipment including excavators, graders, dozers, loaders, and water trucks following safety procedures and construction grading standards Assist with utility locating and excavation activities necessary for water well installation projects Follow all federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and team members Support horizontal drilling operations and other specialized tasks such as paving or tanker operations as needed Requirements Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A) with a clean driving record suitable for transporting equipment and materials Prior experience in construction utility work or heavy equipment operation including excavators, backhoes, dozers, graders, loaders, or water trucks Mechanical knowledge for routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting Familiarity with federal construction safety regulations and adherence to safety regulations at all times Ability to operate construction machinery such as Caterpillar equipment, horizontal drills, or paving machinery is a plus Strong work ethic with the ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols in a fast-paced environment Construction site experience including excavation, grading, utility locating, or water well installation is highly desirable Join us in building essential water infrastructure while advancing your skills in heavy equipment operation and construction utility work!
