This role is ideal for candidates from construction, drilling, mining, utilities, heavy equipment, transportation, or military field operations who enjoy physical work, travel, and working outdoors. You'll work closely with equipment operators, learn unique machinery, perform basic maintenance, and help keep rigs running safely and efficiently. We offer generous per diem and excellent benefits. This is primarily a Monday-Friday field operations role, with occasional night or weekend availability. What You'll Do Set up and operate drilling, CPT, sampling, and in‑situ testing equipment Assist Field Operators and Engineers with daily field tasks Help mobilize/demobilize equipment in challenging environments Perform routine equipment inspections, maintenance, and minor repairs Follow all safety procedures and report incidents immediately Support shop tasks and look for ways to improve processes What You Bring Experience with drilling, sampling, heavy equipment, or mechanical work (a plus) Class A or B CDL (preferred) or willingness to obtain w/in 6 months Adequate operating time to demonstrate skill (working interview may be required) Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to lift 50 lbs, work outdoors, and handle long days in all weather
