Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Rotary air/mud drill rig operator to join our construction team. In this vital role, you will operate heavy-duty drilling equipment used water well drilling, ensuring precise and efficient drilling operations. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of water systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machinery in a fast-paced environment, where safety, precision, and teamwork are paramount. Responsibilities Operate rotary air/mud drill rigs with precision, adhering to project specifications and safety protocols Set up and dismantle drilling equipment, including positioning and stabilizing machinery on various terrains Monitor drilling operations continuously, adjusting parameters to optimize performance and prevent equipment damage Conduct routine inspections of drill rigs and associated machinery such as loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and front loader trucks Assist with site preparation activities using heavy equipment. Maintain detailed logs of drilling activities, including depth measurements, equipment usage, and safety checks Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow, adhering to project timelines and safety standards Qualifications Proven experience operating rotary air/mud drill rigs in construction or geotechnical environments Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment including Caterpillar machinery, loaders, dozers, excavators, cranes, water trucks, tanker trucks, roll-off trucks, farm machinery, concrete mixers, and front loader trucks Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with site safety procedures and operational protocols Valid commercial driver's license with clean driving record; experience with heavy truck operation such as dump trucks and tanker trucks is highly desirable Ability to interpret technical instructions and blueprints accurately Knowledge of construction materials and processes related to foundation drilling and site preparation Excellent communication skills and a proactive safety mindset Join us in delivering impactful infrastructure projects by leveraging your expertise in heavy equipment operation and drilling! $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
