Job Description
Role Overview:
Join the Horizontal Directional Drilling Team to build and maintain advanced PON/fiber networks. Ideal for candidates experienced in horizontal directional drilling or locating, with a focus on outdoor, hands-on work. This full-time, year-round position involves operating drilling equipment, installing and repairing fiber lines, and supporting outside plant activities. Key responsibilities include operating drills, supporting fiber splicing, climbing structures, operating construction equipment, and restoring sites.Qualifications & Skills:
At least 6 months experience in utilities, electrical, customer service, or military service. Ability to obtain a Class A CDL; CDL preferred at hire, with training provided. Physical ability to climb poles, dig, lift up to 50 pounds frequently, and work outdoors in various conditions. Strong attention to safety, detail, communication, and teamwork. Basic knowledge of telecom products; experience in directional drilling is a plus.Training & Benefits:
