Job Title:
Driller Helper Job Description As a Driller Helper, you will support drilling operations in various locations, focusing on residential construction sites. The role involves extensive labor work, including loading materials, fueling equipment, and mastering drilling controls under the guidance of an experienced driller. Responsibilities Assist the driller with daily operations, including loading materials and fueling equipment. Drive the service truck requiring a CDL license. Perform labor-intensive tasks on residential construction sites. Develop skills to master the helper role and progress to learning drilling controls. Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with the team. Travel to job sites within Central PA, Western Maryland, Eastern Panhandle of WV, and Northern Virginia. Work primarily in outdoor environments, adapting to various weather conditions. Essential Skills Valid CDL license with a clean driving record. 2-3 years of experience in heavy equipment operation or farming. Mechanical aptitude, preferably with diesel engines. Ability to lift 75 lbs. Effective communication skills and teamwork. Additional Skills & Qualifications Welding experience preferred. Experience in construction and landscaping is helpful. Ability to pass drug tests. Capability to work long hours and travel up to 150 miles a day to job sites. Why Work Here? You will typically work 10-12 hour days, home each night, with occasional overnight travel. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Martinsburg, WV. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
