Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Driller or Driller Helper to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be instrumental in operating drilling equipment and supporting various heavy machinery to ensure the successful completion of construction projects. Your expertise will help maintain efficient workflows on-site, contributing to the safe and timely delivery of infrastructure development. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a skilled team dedicated to excellence in construction and site management. Responsibilities Operate drilling equipment, to execute precise underground and foundation work according to project specifications. Assist with the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of drilling machinery and other heavy equipment such as excavators, backhoes, water trucks, dump trucks, Support the transportation of materials and equipment around the construction site using commercial driving skills with vehicles like dump trucks and water trucks. Conduct routine inspections of machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met; perform basic mechanical repairs as needed. Assist with site preparation activities including grading, and excavation tasks utilizing equipment and other heavy machinery. Follow all safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation, construction site procedures, and environmental regulations. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow during drilling projects and other specialized construction tasks. Qualifications Mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on heavy machinery. Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with safety standards and operational procedures. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a focus on safety and efficiency.
