Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Drywall Hanger and Finisher to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, finishing, and repairing drywall surfaces to create smooth, durable walls and ceilings that meet high-quality standards. Your expertise will help transform construction projects into polished, professional spaces. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from commercial buildings to residential remodels, contributing directly to the aesthetic and structural integrity of our structures. Duties Measure, cut, hang, and secure drywall panels efficiently across various construction sites. Apply joint compound, tape seams, and sand surfaces to achieve a flawless finish. Read blueprints and schematics to accurately determine drywall placement and finishing details. Install trims, moldings, and fixtures such as doors and windows to enhance interior aesthetics. Perform plastering, caulking, and water damage restoration tasks as needed for repairs or finishing touches. Collaborate with carpenters, masons, plumbers, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and debris removal throughout the job site. Requirements Proven experience in drywall hanging and finishing on construction sites with a strong understanding of blueprint reading and schematics. Skilled in related trades such as plastering, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, tile laying, and flooring installation. Knowledge of construction estimating processes and familiarity with the restoration industry is a plus. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, airless paint sprayers, and other equipment safely and effectively. Experience with plumbing systems installation or repair is advantageous for certain projects. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
