Metal Framer/Drywall Hanger Optimal WorkLife Huntsville, AL Job Details Full-time | Contract $18 - $25 an hour Benefits On-the-job training Tools provided Qualifications Drywall Outdoor work Power tools Frame carpentry Hand tools Roofing Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Metal Framer/Hanger to join our construction team. This position is responsible for installing metal stud framing, hanging drywall, and assisting with commercial construction projects. Candidates should be comfortable working with hand and power tools, reading measurements, and working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Install metal studs, tracks, and framing systems according to blueprints and specifications Hang and secure drywall panels on walls and ceilings Measure, cut, and assemble framing materials accurately Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently Assist with layout and preparation of job sites Maintain a clean and safe work environment Follow OSHA safety standards and company policies Work collaboratively with supervisors and crew members Perform additional construction-related duties as assigned Qualifications Previous experience in metal framing, drywall hanging, or commercial construction preferred Ability to read tape measurements and use construction tools Ability to lift up to 50+ pounds and work on ladders or scaffolding Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions Must have reliable transportation and dependable attendance Preferred Skills Experience with commercial construction projects Knowledge of drywall finishing and framing techniques Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings Schedule Full-time (Contract) Monday-Friday/ Occasional Saturday's Overtime may be available Pay Pay based on experience
Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
