In this role, you will be responsible for applying finishing touches to drywall surfaces, ensuring a smooth, professional appearance that meets high-quality standards. Your expertise will contribute to the seamless completion of residential, commercial, or restoration projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilizing your skills to create polished interiors that stand out. Duties Apply joint compound, tape, and other finishing materials to drywall surfaces with precision and efficiency Sand and smooth drywall surfaces to achieve a flawless finish ready for painting or further decoration Inspect completed work for imperfections and correct any issues promptly Read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications and ensure accurate application of finishing techniques Collaborate with carpenters, plasterers, and other trades to coordinate project timelines and quality standards Assist with related tasks such as caulking, trim carpentry, or fixture installation as needed Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and debris, ensuring safety compliance on site Requirements Proven experience in drywall finishing or related construction roles with site experience in residential or commercial projects Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical instructions Skilled in plastering, taping, sanding, and applying finishing compounds Familiarity with construction estimating and project planning processes Ability to perform skilled tasks such as metal stud framing, door hanging, flooring installation, and tile laying is a plus Knowledge of water damage restoration, mold remediation, and construction painting enhances versatility Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team Join us if you're passionate about transforming raw spaces into beautifully finished interiors!
