The ideal candidate will have experience in various demolition tasks and a strong understanding of construction processes. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in potentially hazardous environments. As a Demolition Worker, you will play a crucial role in preparing sites for new construction by efficiently dismantling structures while adhering to safety regulations. Duties Safely operate power tools and equipment to demolish structures, including buildings and other installations. Remove materials such as drywall, plaster, stucco, tile, and masonry from sites. Conduct thorough inspections of demolition sites to ensure compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with team members to plan and execute demolition projects effectively. Assist in the removal of debris and hazardous materials following proper disposal protocols. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, performing basic repairs as needed. Follow blueprints and project specifications to ensure accurate demolition processes. Communicate effectively with supervisors and other workers regarding project progress and any issues that arise. Qualifications Proven experience in demolition or construction work is preferred. Familiarity with plastering, drywall installation, tile laying, stucco application, masonry work, and remodeling is advantageous. Proficient in using power tools safely and effectively. Knowledge of construction inspection practices is a plus. Ability to read blueprints and understand project plans. Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials as required.
