Superior Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing, Inc. is a state-wide service provider specializing in skilled trade services, tenant improvements and new construction projects. As a Skilled Construction Tradesman, you will complete commercial tenant improvements within the role of demolition, wood carpentry, drywall, painting, and finish carpentry within retail environments. Journeymen are provided with company vehicles to respond to service calls. Vehicles may be taken home to start the workday or picked up at the local shop, depending on assignment and location. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years of commercial construction experience in the above areas and must be available to work various shifts, including nights, as needed. Work Responsibilities Demo walls, cabinets, counter tops, masonry and interior doors Install wood carpentry, framing, and cabinetry Install ceiling tiles, hardware, window coverings on occasion Cut, install or repair drywall includes taping and mudding Hang interior doors and install casing or trim Prepare and clean-up job sites for painting Paint repairs and properly dispose of painting materials Provide updates to foreman and supervisors regarding estimated time of completion on repairs or upgrades Report inventory on materials and supplies to supervisors Complete service and/or work order reports Ability to work in a team environment or independently Additional duties may be assigned as needed
Requirements:
