JOB SUMMARY
We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Drywall Specialist to join our growing team. This role is essential in ensuring a clean, professional finish on all projects involving wall and ceiling modifications due to HVAC or construction work. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in drywall hanging, taping, patching, and texture matching, and is comfortable working in occupied residential spaces with care and precision.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Install, tape, mud, sand, and finish drywall on walls and ceilings Perform high-quality drywall patchwork in homes following HVAC installations or renovations Match and blend a variety of drywall textures (orange peel, knockdown, smooth, etc.) Cut drywall to fit around pipes, vents, or existing structures Repair and replace damaged drywall sections, ensuring a seamless appearance Maintain clean and organized workspaces before, during, and after jobs Protect customer property using drop cloths, coverings, and careful work practices Communicate clearly with the project manager regarding work progress, delays, or issues Ensure all work is compliant with company quality standards and safety protocols
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Minimum 3 years of hands-on drywall experience Strong ability to match existing wall and ceiling textures High attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship Knowledge of tools, materials, and techniques related to drywall installation and finishing Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, and tight or elevated areas Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for extended periods Clean, professional appearance and respectful attitude in customers' homes Reliable transportation to job sites across the Bay Area
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Experience working in residential construction or remodeling OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred but not required Valid CA Driver's License and clean driving record
SCHEDULE
Full-Time Position Day Shift:
Monday-Friday Occasional overtime, evenings, or weekends may be required Start times may vary depending on job site
