Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Drywall Finisher & Painter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in finishing drywall surfaces and applying paint or other finishes on interior and exterior surfaces. This position requires working at elevated heights and handling moderate to heavy lifting.Key Responsibilities:
Prepare drywall surfaces by taping, mudding, sanding, and texturing to achieve a smooth finish. Apply paint, stain, and coatings to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Inspect and repair drywall and painted surfaces as needed to ensure a high-quality finish. Safely work on ladders, scaffolding, and elevated platforms at heights exceeding 20 feet. Lift, carry, and position materials weighing over 30 lbs as part of daily duties. Protect surrounding areas and surfaces using drop cloths, masking tape, and other protective materials. Maintain a clean and organized work area and clean tools and equipment after use. Follow safety protocols and OSHA regulations on job sites. Work closely with supervisors and team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification.Requirements:
Proven experience as a drywall finisher and painter in residential or commercial construction. Ability to safely work on ladders and scaffolding above 20 feet. Physically capable of lifting and carrying items over 30 lbs. Familiarity with drywall finishing tools, painting tools, and safety procedures. Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship. Reliable transportation and strong work ethic. Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.Pay:
$23.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per weekBenefits:
