Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Drywall Finisher/General Construction Worker to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential remodels to commercial builds, utilizing a broad range of construction skills. As a key team member, you will contribute to the successful completion of projects by assisting the crew with construction projects that need drywall/drywall finishing and other various tasks with precision and efficiency. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and eager to grow their expertise in the construction industry while ensuring safety and quality standards are met every step of the way. Duties(•you don't need to know all of these skills, the most important is drywall finishing•) Assist with projects that include drywall/drywall finishing(tape, mud, sand, etc.) Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively on sites. Install doors, windows, cabinets, flooring, tile, and trim carpentry components with precision. Perform masonry work including bricklaying, stucco application, and hardscape installation. Conduct plumbing and electrical tasks as needed, supporting system installations and repairs. Apply construction painting, caulking, glazing, and plastering techniques to enhance building aesthetics. Engage in roofing work, glass installation, framing carpentry, drywall hanging, and masonry as required. Support demolition, remodeling, and restoration efforts to update or repair existing structures. Ensure all work complies with safety protocols and quality standards while maintaining a clean job site. Experience(•you don't need to know all of these skills, the most important is drywall finishing•) Proven skills relating to drywall finishing. Hands-on experience operating power tools, heavy equipment, and specialized fabrication machinery. Knowledge of various trades including carpentry (frame and trim), masonry, roofing, plumbing, electrical systems, and drywall installation. Experience with tile laying, flooring installation (hardwood or laminate), plastering or stucco application preferred. Strong understanding of safety procedures on active construction sites; OSHA certification is a plus.
