Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a New Construction Cleaning Team Member and be a vital part of transforming new building projects into spotless, ready-to-use spaces! In this energetic role, you will play a key part in ensuring commercial and residential new constructions are thoroughly cleaned, polished, and prepared for occupancy. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will help create safe, pristine environments for clients and future occupants. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your cleaning and maintenance skills while contributing to the successful completion of construction projects. Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning of new construction sites, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and trash removal to ensure spaces meet high standards of cleanliness. Utilize specialized floor care techniques such as buffing and polishing to achieve a pristine finish on various flooring surfaces. Conduct detailed cleaning of windows, fixtures, and surfaces to prepare spaces for handover. Assist with light maintenance tasks such as touch-up painting or minor repairs to ensure the site remains in excellent condition. Follow safety protocols diligently while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment on active construction sites. Collaborate with project managers and other team members to prioritize cleaning tasks according to project schedules. Maintain cleanliness of tools and equipment, ensuring they are properly stored and in good working condition for ongoing use. Qualifications Prior janitorial or custodial experience is highly preferred, especially in commercial or industrial settings. Knowledge of various cleaning techniques including floor care and industrial cleaning methods. Experience with facilities maintenance or porter duties is a plus. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship. Good physical stamina; ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods. Familiarity with safety procedures related to construction sites and cleaning chemicals is advantageous.
