Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Drywall Clean Up professional to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment by efficiently removing debris, dust, and excess materials from drywall installation sites. Your efforts will ensure that the workspace remains organized, safe, and ready for the next phase of construction. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry while contributing to high-quality project completion. Duties Clear construction sites of drywall dust, debris, and leftover materials to maintain a tidy workspace Assist with the disposal of waste materials in accordance with safety and environmental regulations Support drywall installation teams by preparing work areas and ensuring tools are clean and ready for use Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with construction workplace safety regulations Help set up protective coverings or barriers to contain dust and debris during drywall finishing processes Maintain cleanliness of tools and equipment used on site, including hand tools and power tools Collaborate with carpenters, plasterers, and other trades to facilitate smooth workflow and project progress Experience Prior experience working on construction sites or in a related trade environment is preferred but not required Familiarity with construction safety regulations and proper handling of hand tools and power tools is advantageous Basic understanding of drywall installation, mudding, taping, texturing, and repair processes is a plus Ability to interpret basic schematics or technical drawings related to construction plans is beneficial Previous experience in cleanup roles within restoration or remodeling projects can be valuable Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to safety are essential qualities for success in this role Join us if you're eager to contribute to dynamic construction projects while developing your skills in a fast-paced environment.
