Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Professional Painter or Apprentice, where you'll be at the forefront of transforming spaces through expert craftsmanship and creative vision. Whether you're an experienced painter ready to bring your skills to exciting projects or an eager apprentice looking to develop a solid foundation in the painting trade, this role offers a vibrant environment to grow and excel. You'll work on new construction residential ,applying your knowledge of surface preparation, finishing techniques, and color application to deliver outstanding results that enhance our clients' environments. This paid position provides a fantastic opportunity to build your expertise while contributing to high-quality construction and restoration projects. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and specialty coatings using hand tools and power tools such as airless paint sprayers and brushes Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute painting plans and project specifications Use construction estimating skills to assess project scope and materials requirements for accurate job planning Execute painting tasks on large-scale structures with precision and safety compliance in mind Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of waste properly, and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times Qualifications Prior experience in residential or commercial painting is highly desirable; apprentices with handyman experience or basic construction site exposure are encouraged to apply Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, scaffolding setup, and safety procedures on construction sites Skills in plastering, caulking.
