Think of it as 'practical magic.' Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled painter/drywall technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint using brushes, rollers, and occasionally, sprayers, installing drywall, and finishing drywall joints to ensure a smooth surface, as prep for installation projects. The painter/drywall technician will work on a variety of projects, both commercial and residential, and will be responsible for completing jobs in a timely and efficient manner. 
  • The pay for this position is $25-$28/hr
  • Must have 2-5 years relevant experience including customer service
  • This opportunity comes with a 4 day work week

Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform painting duties as assigned; prepare all surfaces (i.e., remove nails, fill holes, etc.), apply paint as appropriate, keep paint off carpets, floors, wood-stained cabinets, countertops, appliances, wall cover plates, and fixtures, providing a clean, attractive, finished product within required timelines. Repair and install sheet rock with space up, to include mud, sand, texture, and painting of surfaces. Train to perform skilled and semi-skilled carpentry work to install custom storage systems such as closets, cabinets, offices, and other spaces in the home or commercial buildings. Train to utilize company provided CAD drawings\blueprints to install systems properly and efficiently. Greet and interact with clients in a professional, courteous, and helpful manner. Inspect rooms and spaces to determine damages to the unit and the specific maintenance needs. Perform other related duties as assigned by the direct supervisor and/or Management. QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentTrade or vocational school experience desirableProven 2-4 years of experience as a painter/ drywall techCabinetry or carpentry skills and/ or experience installing offices to furniture quality level finishes is preferred but not requiredAdditional InformationFind us on Facebook, YouTube, and InstagramWe are an equal opportunity employer.
