Job Summary We are seeking a knowledgeable and skilled Home Remodeling Specialist to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be instrumental in transforming residential spaces by applying your expertise in various construction and renovation techniques. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure each project is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to work on diverse remodeling projects, utilizing your broad skill set to bring homeowners' visions to life. Duties Collaborate with clients and project managers to understand remodeling goals and develop detailed plans. Execute a wide range of construction tasks including framing, drywall installation, flooring, tile laying, and trim carpentry. Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively on various job sites. Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise implementation of design specifications. Install fixtures such as cabinets, doors, glass panels, and lighting fixtures with accuracy and care. Perform restoration work including plastering, stucco application, concrete finishing, masonry, and concrete forming. Conduct inspections during each phase of construction to ensure quality control and adherence to safety standards. Manage construction estimating processes and utilize Bluebeam software for project documentation and collaboration. Oversee construction site safety protocols while coordinating with other trades like plumbing, electrical work, roofing, and fabrication. Operate heavy equipment when necessary for foundation work or large-scale installations. Ensure timely completion of projects by managing materials procurement, scheduling tasks efficiently, and maintaining clear communication with team members. Skills Extensive knowledge of construction management principles and remodeling techniques. Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating software such as Bluebeam. Strong experience with plumbing, electrical systems, roofing, masonry, drywall installation, flooring installation, tile laying, and fixture installation. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and heavy equipment operation. Ability to perform detailed construction inspection and quality control checks throughout projects. Familiarity with restoration processes including plastering, stucco application, concrete finishing, welding, and fabrication. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to troubleshooting onsite issues. Effective communication skills for coordinating with clients and team members across multiple trades.
