Overview Join our dynamic team as a Residential Painter and bring vibrant, flawless finishes to homes and renovation projects! As a Residential Painter, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint and coatings, and ensuring every project meets high standards of quality and durability. Your expertise will help homeowners enjoy beautiful, refreshed living environments while you develop your skills in a fast-paced, rewarding setting. Responsibilities Prepare interior and exterior surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using hand tools and power tools such as airless sprayers, brushes, rollers, and spray equipment. Read blueprints, schematics, and schematics to accurately follow project specifications and color schemes based on color theory principles. Perform drywall repairs, plastering, stucco application, and trim carpentry to create smooth surfaces ready for painting. Execute renovation projects involving framing, masonry work, fixture installation, restoration work, and remodeling tasks. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites. Collaborate with clients and team members to ensure project specifications are met efficiently and effectively. Skills Extensive experience with residential painting techniques including surface preparation and finishing. Knowledge of construction estimating processes for project planning and material procurement. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and airless paint spraying equipment safely. Strong understanding of color theory to achieve desired aesthetic effects. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately. Skilled in plastering, stucco application, caulking, trim carpentry, masonry, framing carpentry, drywall repair, restoration work, and fixture installation. Experience with commercial painting projects and industrial painting techniques is a plus. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to project scope. Familiarity with construction site safety standards along with handyman experience or maintenance skills. Knowledge of schematics related to electrical fixtures or plumbing components when necessary.
