This role requires a highly adaptable individual who thrives in dynamic environments, handling a wide range of tasks from start to finish. The position involves Monday through Thursday, 8 AM to 6 PM (hours may change during school year) with opportunities for hands-on involvement in all phases of remodeling. Starting pay is competitive and based on experience. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive remodeling tasks including drywall installation and finishing, flooring (e.g., hardwood, tile, laminate), acoustic ceiling applications, painting (interior/exterior), and other miscellaneous trade work such as framing, trim carpentry, basic plumbing/electrical support, and demolition. Collaborate on full project lifecycles, from site preparation and material handling to final inspections and clean-up for both residential and commercial sites. Adapt to varying project demands, troubleshooting issues on-site and executing tasks efficiently with minimal supervision. Maintain tools, equipment, and job sites in compliance with safety standards and regulations. Assist with material procurement, measurements, and quality control to ensure projects meet deadlines and client specifications. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in construction trade work, with proven expertise in multiple disciplines including drywall, flooring, acoustic ceilings, and painting. Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new techniques, materials, and project types. Strong physical stamina to handle demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working in various conditions. Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred. Knowledge of safety protocols, basic blueprint reading, and power tool proficiency. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a team-oriented mindset. Preferred Qualifications Experience in both residential and commercial remodeling. Familiarity with modern tools and sustainable building practices. Certification in relevant trades (e.g., OSHA safety training) is a plus.
Schedule and Compensation Work schedule:
Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM-6:00 PM (10-hour days, potential for overtime).
