Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Drywall Firman, where you will play a vital role in transforming interior spaces through expert drywall installation and finishing. As a key contributor, you will work on diverse projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and timely completion. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in various aspects of construction, from framing to finishing, while contributing to the creation of functional and aesthetically pleasing environments. Duties Measure and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately install drywall and related materials. Prepare surfaces by framing with metal studs or wood, ensuring structural integrity before drywall application. Install drywall panels, plastering, and stucco to create smooth interior surfaces. Perform finishing tasks such as taping, mudding, sanding, caulking, and trim carpentry to achieve a polished look. Handle fixture installation, door hanging, and other trim carpentry tasks to complete interior details. Conduct water damage restoration, mold remediation, and repair work on damaged walls or ceilings as needed. Utilize construction estimating skills for material takeoffs and project planning to optimize resources and efficiency. Qualifications Proven experience in construction site work with a strong background in drywall installation and finishing. Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with precision. Knowledge of plastering, stucco application, flooring installation, tile laying, and painting techniques. Familiarity with framing (metal stud and wood), masonry, plumbing (including construction plumbing), and restoration industry practices. Ability to operate hand tools and power equipment safely and efficiently on construction sites. Handyman experience or general remodeling skills are highly valued. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to construction painting, airless paint spraying, caulking, door hanging, and mold remediation.
