In this role, you will be responsible for applying finishing touches to drywall surfaces, ensuring smooth, seamless, and professional-looking walls and ceilings. Your expertise will help transform raw construction spaces into polished environments ready for painting, decorating, or occupancy. Responsibilities Apply joint compound to drywall seams and fill gaps using hand tools and power tools for a flawless finish Sand and smooth surfaces to prepare for painting or further finishing work Install corner beads, trims, and other finishing accessories to enhance durability and appearance Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute drywall installation details Collaborate with carpenters, painters, and other trades to ensure seamless project flow Inspect completed work for quality standards and rectify imperfections promptly Operate heavy equipment and power tools safely while adhering to all safety protocols Requirements Proven experience in drywall finishing or related construction trades with site experience Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction drawings Familiarity with hand tools such as trowels, knives, sanders, and caulking guns; proficiency with power tools preferred Ability to work efficiently on scaffolding or ladders at various heights in different environments Knowledge of additional skills such as plastering, stucco application, or framing carpentry is a plus Experience with Bluebeam software for digital plan review is advantageous Understanding of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and construction site protocols Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors throughout the project lifecycle Join our team as a Drywall Finisher and bring your craftsmanship to life!
