Job Description

Experienced Drywall Specialist Buffalo, NY & Surrounding Areas Strokes Painting & Contracting is a woman-owned and operated company based in Buffalo, NY, built on a foundation of skill, passion and an unwavering commitment to quality. We are seeking a full-time Experienced Drywall Specialist to support our expanding residential and commercial painting operations. We are looking for a skilled professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and understands the importance of proper wall preparation for exceptional paint finishes. Qualifications:
5+ years of drywall experience required Ability to match textures and blend repairs seamlessly Strong finishing skills and knowledge of Level 3, Level 4, and Level 5 finishes Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable transportation Strong attention to detail and work ethic Ability to consistently produce high-quality results Experience working with painting crews preferred Basic carpentry or framing knowledge preferred
Responsibilities:
Hang, tape, and finish drywall (Level 4-5 finish preferred) Skim, coat, patch, blend, and repair wall surfaces Sand and prepare walls for painting crews Repair cracks, holes, water damage, and other wall imperfections Match existing textures and blend repairs seamlessly Work alongside painters to meet project deadlines Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site Does this sound like the position for you?
