Job Description

Job Summary Lead and Mold Detectives is an environmental consulting and remediation company dedicated to protecting the health and safety of our clients. We specialize in lead-based paint hazard reduction, mold remediation, environmental inspections, and compliance services throughout New York City and Long Island. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Abatement and/or Mold Remediation Contractor to join our field operations team. The ideal candidate has experience in environmental remediation and is responsible for performing abatement, remediation and general construction. Responsibilities Mold remediation, and lead paint removal projects from start to finish Utilize hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment to safely remove hazardous materials following all safety protocols and regulations Perform drywall (sheetrock), painting, plaster, and repair work associated with remediation projects. Complete daily photo records. Travel to job sites throughout New York City (5 Boroughs) and surrounding areas. Experience Experience with sheetrock installation, painting, plaster repair, and general construction. Valid driver's license. Reliable personal vehicle and ability to travel between job sites. Extensive knowledge of mold remediation and procedure techniques Ability to read and follow protocols, scopes of work, and project specifications. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and effectively Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications Spanish-speaking (bilingual). Carpentry experience. Electrical experience. $25.00 - $31.00 per hour
