In this role, you will be responsible for applying drywall tape, bedding compounds, and various texturing techniques to achieve smooth, professional wall finishes on residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will contribute to creating high-quality interiors that meet design specifications and industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about craftsmanship and dedicated to delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced environment. Duties Prepare drywall surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and setting up materials to ensure optimal adhesion for taping and finishing Apply drywall tape seamlessly over joints, corners, and seams to create a smooth surface ready for finishing Use bedding compounds to fill gaps, smooth out imperfections, and secure drywall sheets in place Implement various texturing techniques such as spray textures, knockdown, or skip trowel to achieve desired wall finishes Read blueprints, schematics, and project specifications to accurately execute textures and finishes according to design plans Collaborate with carpenters, plasterers, and other trades to coordinate work sequences on construction sites Maintain a clean work area by organizing tools and disposing of debris regularly to ensure safety and efficiency Experience Proven experience in drywall taping, bedding, and texturing within the construction or restoration industry Familiarity with construction estimating processes. Knowledge of water damage restoration techniques, mold remediation Ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings related to drywall installation and finishing processes Prior work on remodeling projects or in the restoration industry is highly desirable Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites including proper use of tools and equipment Join our team if you're eager to bring your craftsmanship skills into a collaborative environment where quality workmanship is celebrated.
