The ideal candidate will have experience in drywall installation and a strong understanding of construction practices. This role is essential in ensuring that walls and ceilings are properly constructed, providing a solid foundation for finishing work. The Drywall Hanger will work on various projects, including residential and commercial buildings, contributing to the overall quality and aesthetics of the finished space. Duties Install drywall sheets on walls and ceilings according to specifications and blueprints. Measure, cut, and shape drywall panels to fit around windows, doors, and electrical outlets. Secure drywall panels using screws or nails, ensuring proper alignment and stability. Perform taping and finishing work to prepare surfaces for painting or other finishes. Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure timely project completion. Conduct repairs on existing drywall installations as needed. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and guidelines. Skills Proficiency in drywall installation techniques and tools. Knowledge of mold remediation practices is a plus. Experience in building structures and remodeling projects. Familiarity with airless paint spraying methods for finishing work. General maintenance person skills with experience in masonry and carpentry tasks. Ability to read blueprints accurately to follow project specifications. Competence in flooring installation techniques is advantageous.
