Drywall Installer

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is looking for several Drywall Installer to join our construction team, dedicated to delivering high-quality interior finishes across diverse projects. Responsibilities Measure, cut, and install drywall panels accurately according to project plans and schematics Prepare surfaces by framing walls with metal studs or wood framing as required Apply joint compound, tape seams, and sand surfaces for smooth finishes Install insulation, soundproofing materials, and other wall components as needed Perform finishing tasks including caulking, trim carpentry, door hanging, and fixture installation Read blueprints and schematics to determine layout and material requirements Collaborate with other trades such as plumbing, electrical, masonry, and flooring teams to ensure seamless project flow Maintain a clean work environment and adhere strictly to safety protocols on site Assist in water damage restoration or mold remediation projects when necessary Support remodeling and renovation efforts by providing skilled drywall services Requirements Proven experience in drywall installation within the construction or restoration industry Knowledge of construction estimating processes and ability to interpret blueprints and schematics Hands-on experience with plastering, taping, sanding, and finishing drywall surfaces Familiarity with related trades including carpentry (frame carpentry), masonry, plumbing (construction plumbing), painting (construction painting), tile laying, stucco application, and metal stud framing Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently Strong understanding of construction site safety standards and protocols Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in measuring and cutting materials Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay:

$21.00 - $24.00 per hour
