Foreman Walker Homes and Remodeling San Antonio, TX Job Details Full-time $22.00 - $26.75 an hour 22 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Outdoor work Remodeling General construction laborer experience Construction Handyman experience Full Job Description We are seeking full-time Foreman for work on residential houses doing: Repair minor issues in residential homes (e.g., trim installation, paint and sheetrock, hinge and door repair, caulking and grout, carpentry, appliance repair / installation, etc.). All work will be done in small stages or small project capacity. Demolish, replace or construct walls, including framing, drywall and other finish-out functions. All work will be done in small stages or small project capacity. Perform minor drywall patching and repairs. Fills cracks and holes with appropriate material (e.g., plaster). Retexture to match existing texture. Apply paint to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces with brushes, rollers, and spray machines. Maintain a clean and safe job site: Clean and prepare construction sites. Pick up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day in order to eliminate potential hazards. Haul materials to dump or recycle as appropriate. Must maintain professionalism when interacting with clients and other contractors on job site. Be eyes and ears for Project Managers or Partners. Ability to communicate professionally with customers. Ability to follow spoken and written instruction and work in fast paced construction environment with minimal guidance from leads or supervisors. Ability to handle physical workload Able to work outside in variable weather conditions Must have reliable transportation and the ability to report to different job sites. Must have tools to complete all previously listed projects. Must be able to meet quick turn deadlines Must be able to lift 40 pounds and climb ladders. One day you might be installing trim, painting the next, cleaning a jobsite later that day, following day completing demolition, hanging drywall or framing. The variety keeps things interesting! Who would ever want to do the same thing every day! Not us! Pay rate depends on experience.
