In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing drywall (also known as sheetrock) efficiently and accurately across various residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will help create smooth, durable wall surfaces that serve as the foundation for finishing work. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-quality building projects while honing your skills in drywall installation and related construction tasks. Duties Measure, cut, and hang drywall sheets according to construction plans and schematics Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure proper placement and alignment of drywall surfaces Secure drywall using hand tools, power tools, and fasteners, ensuring a level and secure installation Prepare surfaces by applying drywall mudding, taping joints, and sanding for a seamless finish Perform drywall repair and texturing to match existing surfaces or prepare walls for painting or finishing Assist with metal stud framing, insulation installation, and other framing tasks as needed Follow all construction workplace safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe environment on-site Experience Prior construction experience with drywall installation or related trades such as framing, plastering, or remodeling is highly preferred Familiarity with reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate project execution Hands-on experience with hand tools (e.g., saws, drills), power tools (e.g., screw guns, sanders), and specialized drywall tools Knowledge of drywall mudding, taping, texturing, and repair techniques to achieve professional finishes Understanding of construction safety regulations and best practices in a construction site environment Experience working with construction plans involving metal stud framing, fixture installation, or water damage restoration is a plus Ability to interpret technical schematics related to plumbing, electrical fixtures, or masonry work is advantageous Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to craftsmanship excellence!
