The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in drywall installation, finishing, and related carpentry tasks to deliver high-quality results on a variety of projects. Responsibilities Apply drywall compound to walls and ceilings for a smooth, professional finish Sand and repair surfaces, ensuring consistency and quality Install corner beads, tape joints, and prepare surfaces for painting Repair damaged drywall and match textures as needed Read and work from construction schematics to determine layout and material requirements Collaborate with carpenters on door hanging, trim, and frame carpentry tasks Perform plaster, stucco, and additional finishing work as required Qualifications & Skills Proficiency in drywall installation and finishing techniques Strong knowledge of material estimating and calculations Ability to read and interpret construction schematics Experience with plastering, stucco, and texture matching Familiarity with trim carpentry, door hanging, and frame carpentry Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship Ability to work safely and efficiently on active construction sites
