In this role, you will be responsible for installing, finishing, repairing, and maintaining drywall surfaces across various commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will help create smooth, durable walls and ceilings that meet high-quality standards while adhering to safety protocols. Duties Measure, cut, install, and secure drywall panels using hand tools and power tools such as drills, saws, and taping knives Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure precise installation Apply drywall mudding (joint compound) and tape seams for seamless finishes; perform drywall texturing and plastering as needed Repair damaged drywall surfaces by patching holes or cracks, restoring walls to their original condition Install metal stud framing, trim carpentry elements, doors, fixtures, and perform drywall repair or restoration work including water damage remediation and mold remediation Follow construction safety regulations meticulously; maintain a clean worksite by organizing tools and debris regularly Collaborate with other trades such as carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and painting teams to ensure project milestones are met efficiently Skills Extensive experience with drywall installation, taping, mudding, texturing, and repair techniques Strong knowledge of construction estimating and reading blueprints or schematics accurately Proficiency with hand tools (e.g., knives, t-squares) and power tools (e.g., drills, saws) used in drywall work Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times Ability to interpret technical drawings and construction plans for accurate material measurement and placement Experience with related skills such as framing carpentry, door hanging, flooring installation, stucco application, tile laying, caulking, plastering or remodeling projects Knowledge of the restoration industry including water damage restoration or mold remediation is a plus Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly on-site while maintaining high standards of quality Join us in delivering exceptional craftsmanship on every project!
