Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Painter / Remodeler - Interior & Exterior to join our vibrant team! This role offers an exciting opportunity to bring transformation and fresh aesthetics to residential and commercial spaces through expert painting, remodeling, and renovation work. As a key contributor, you will utilize your craftsmanship, attention to detail, and technical expertise to deliver high-quality results that enhance our clients' environments. Duties Prepare surfaces for painting or remodeling by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and applying primer or sealers. Execute interior and exterior painting projects using brushes, rollers, airless paint sprayers, and other power tools with precision. Perform drywall installation, plastering, caulking, and trim carpentry to ensure seamless finishes. Read blueprints and schematics to accurately interpret project specifications and technical drawings. Conduct renovation tasks including framing, masonry work such as stucco or concrete finishing, fixture installation, and restoration projects. Operate hand tools and power tools safely while maintaining a clean work environment on construction sites. Assist with construction estimating by assessing materials needed for projects and ensuring efficient use of resources. Collaborate with team members on remodeling projects involving carpentry, masonry, welding, or industrial painting. Apply knowledge of color theory to select appropriate paint types and finishes for various surfaces. Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and client specifications throughout each project. Experience Proven experience in residential or commercial painting with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Familiarity with construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and basic math skills for accurate measurements. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying equipment, welding equipment, and scaffolding setup. Knowledge of plastering techniques, stucco application, masonry work, concrete finishing, and restoration processes. Prior involvement in renovation projects that include framing carpentry, trim carpentry, fixture installation, drywall repair, or maintenance tasks. Construction site experience demonstrating safety awareness and ability to work efficiently in dynamic environments.
