We specialize in the restoration and maintenance of residential and historical buildings in the Seattle area. We are seeking a experienced and organized individual to join our team. With us, you will get to experience all aspects of home improvement projects. Our ideal applicant has strong drywall experience and basic carpentry experience. This will be a dynamic role that will involve performing and managing our small projects . As well as, communicating with upcoming and current customers so they are aware of project timelines. Small projects include minor repairs like: Painting and staining Drywall patching and repair Plaster repair Rot repair (replacing minimal deck boards, siding, trim) Finish carpentry Time management, organization, effective communication, and a positive attitude are crucial for this position. This is not a seasonal position; we retain our staff year-round and are looking to hire motivated individuals willing to work hard and grow with the business. Requirements A positive attitude, strong work ethic and pleasant demeanor. 3-5 years minimum professional drywall and painting experience and/or residential carpentry experience (required). Ability to effectively manage your weekly project schedule Communicate timelines to customers and answer any questions about the upcoming projects. Ability to work independently as well as over see 1-2 helpers as needed Order materials for small projects Ability to lift a 75 lb. ladder, haul 5 gallon paint buckets and other equipment. Valid driver's license (required), clean driving record and reliable transportation (must be able to arrive at jobsite by 8AM) Basic English proficiency Clean-cut appearance
Pay:
$32.00 - $42.00 per hour
