In this role, you will support electrical installation and maintenance activities on construction sites, ensuring adherence to safety standards and project specifications. Your proactive approach and technical skills will contribute to the successful completion of diverse construction projects, ranging from commercial to infrastructure developments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your expertise in electrical systems while working alongside experienced professionals in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist licensed electricians with wiring, conduit installation, and electrical system setups according to blueprints and technical drawings. Read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and technical documents to support accurate installation processes. Use tools such as ohmmeters for testing electrical circuits and ensure proper functioning of electrical components. Maintain compliance with OSHA and federal construction safety regulations during all site activities. Support project scheduling and coordination efforts by managing daily tasks, tracking progress, and reporting issues promptly. Supervise and manage small teams or crews on-site, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project standards. Collaborate with management on construction safety management, quality control, and adherence to construction regulations. Experience Prior experience working on construction sites with a focus on electrical systems or related trades is highly preferred. Familiarity with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, or Primavera is advantageous. Demonstrated knowledge of blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and construction drawing review. Experience supervising or managing teams within a construction management role is desirable. Understanding of construction scheduling, project management principles, and crew management techniques. Knowledge of federal safety standards including OSHA regulations related to electrical work and general construction safety practices. Hands-on experience with construction safety management, quality control procedures, and managing multiple tasks simultaneously in a busy environment.
