Full Job Description Responsibilities:
Plan and route conduit paths for electrical, fiber optic, or other cabling systems Read and interpret installation plans and instructions Measure, cut, and bend conduits to specified lengths and layouts using appropriate tools Join conduits together using fittings and connectors Secure conduits in place with brackets, clamps, or other fasteners to walls, ceilings, or floors Install rigid and flexible conduits according to project requirements Test conduit systems for leaks and proper functionality; make necessary adjustments Troubleshoot and repair issues with conduit systems Assist in the installation of electrical fixtures and wiring Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes and safety regulations Maintain tools and equipment used for conduit installation Collaborate with electricians, construction teams, and other trades to complete projects Document installation processes and materials for record-keeping Follow all safety procedures and regulations during the installation processRequirements:
High school diploma or GED equivalent Prior experience in conduit installation, electrical, or telecommunications work Certification or training in conduit installation (preferred) Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and CAD drawings Knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems Basic understanding of electrical systems and components Familiarity with industry safety standards, codes, and regulations Valid driver's license Physical fitness, stamina, and ability to work in outdoor environments, at heights, and in confined spaces Manual dexterity and comfort with physically demanding tasks Experience using hand and power tools safely and efficiently Strong communication and teamwork skills Attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocolsPay:
