Job Description
Electricity Instructor (Evenings)
Location:
- Miami-Sunset Adult & Continuing Education Center, Kendall, FL
- Job type:
- Part-time
Pay:
- $30•32 per hour •
Schedule:
- Evening classes, Monday-Thursday
- We're looking for an experienced electrician to teach our evening electrical trades program for adult students.
- Teach classroom and lab instruction in residential, commercial, and industrial electrical work.
- Cover code and safety — NEC, OSHA, and
NFPA 70E
— in everything you teach.- Run a safe lab and keep students working to industry standards.
- Track attendance, grades, and student progress toward program completion. ## What you need
- Several years of hands-on electrical experience (residential, commercial, or industrial).
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license, or equivalent verified trade experience.
- Working knowledge of the current National Electrical Code.
- Florida teaching certification in Electrical, or eligibility to obtain it — we'll help you through the process.
- High school diploma or GED, and ability to pass a background screening.
Pay:
$30.00- $32.
