Job Description
JOB DETAILS
First Shift, Monday- Friday 7:00 AM

RESPONSIBILITIES
Help electricians at construction sites, factories, businesses, and residences Work closely with electricians to perform routine electrical work Ensure necessary tools are on-site and readily available during the project Transport tools and materials to the electrician as needed Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit Operate a test meter to trace out short circuits Use wire strippers to strip insulation from wire ends Attach wires to terminals for subsequent soldering Inspect units for loose connections and broken insulation Use various hand tools to tighten connections Drill holes for electrical hookups Become familiar with various tools including conduit benders, screwdrivers, pliers, knives, hacksaws, and wire strippers May need to assist in home inspections Comply with health and safety regulations and always wear protective gearPOSITION REQUIREMENTS
Experience with electrical work is a plus Basic math skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Willingness to learn Strong attention to detail Basic understanding of hand and power tools Problem-solver Surge hires for a variety of top jobs in the area.
