Job Description
The Ford Meter Box Company is accepting resumes for Assistant Electricians. Interested candidates should have completed a formal program from a vocational school/institute or be willing to attend and complete training at a local community college. Partial tuition assistance is available for those that are selected for the roles. All positions will work on a shift designation of need. The ability to work both 2nd and 3rd shift is required. Duties include learning to work with general wiring, power and control circuits, troubleshooting, OSHA regulations, and NEC codes. All trainees must learn to use blueprints and schematics. Ford Meter Box is the leading manufacturer of brass valves and fittings for the water works industry and we offer competitive wages, second and third shift differential pay, a company funded 401(k) retirement plan, excellent benefits coverage, and a separate profit-sharing plan. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age, safety conscious, drug free, and function well in a team-oriented environment.
