Electrician Assistant Job Description Join our dynamic team as an Electrician Assistant, where you will have the opportunity to learn and grow within the field of electrical work. Initially, you will spend two months in our fabrication shop, learning and pulling wires. Subsequently, you will work alongside a lead electrician on commercial sites to further hone your skills in this trade. Responsibilities Assist in assembling electrical control panels. Engage in electrical construction and wiring tasks. Learn to pull wires, install conduits, and perform other electrical tasks. Support lead electricians on commercial sites, learning hands-on skills such as installing lights, feeders, and cabling power distribution equipment. Essential Skills High School Diploma. Willingness to learn and adapt quickly. Ability to follow job rules, work hours, and safe working practices. Additional Skills & Qualifications No prior experience required. Respectful demeanor and understanding of the chain of command. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work on a variety of construction projects throughout the DC Metro area. You will be paired with experienced journeyman electricians who will provide hands-on training.
