Electrical Helper (Apprentice) - Residential New Home Construction Superior Skilled Trades is seeking an Electrical Helper (Apprentice) for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Indian Trail, NC . Excellent opportunity for someone with residential electrical experience who is looking to build a long-term career and advance in the electrical trade!

PAY:

$17.00-$20.00/hour, based on experience

HOURS:

7:00 AM-4:30 PM

SCHEDULE

Monday-Friday, approximately 40+ hours/week

Temp-to-permanent Electrical Helper (Apprentice) Job Description The Electrical Helper (Apprentice) will assist licensed electricians on ground-up new home construction projects . Duties include running residential wiring, assisting with panel installation, installing light fixtures, supporting rough-in and trim-out phases, maintaining clean worksites, and following all safety procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their electrical career who wants to gain hands-on experience, develop their skills, and advance into a long-term career in the electrical trade. Qualifications Minimum 6 months-1 year of residential electrical experience required Must have a strong desire to advance and build a long-term career in the electrical trade Less than 2 years of residential electrical experience Experience or exposure to new home construction preferred Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a crew Willingness to learn and develop electrical skills Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and punctual Must be able to safely use hand/power tools and PPE Must be able to perform job duties requiring standing, bending, climbing ladders, kneeling, twisting, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted PPE Required Steel-toe boots Safety vest Hard hat Work gloves Safety glasses Tools Required Side cutters Dikes Impact drill Screwdriver set Level Hacksaw Channel-locks Additional Requirements Must be eligible to work in the United States Must have reliable transportation to the job site
