This is a flexible, part-time opportunity (with the potential to become full-time) for an Unlimited-licensed electrician in the Wilmington area who cares deeply about training the next generation.

What you will do:

Teach engaging live, in-person NEC exam-prep and continuing-education courses using JCR Productions curriculum and teaching materials Help refine course materials based on student needs Schedule and location In-person position for qualified electricians in the Wilmington/Cape Fear area Classes may be scheduled during weekdays, evenings, or weekends What we provide Starting compensation of up to $800 per teaching day Established curriculum, instructor resources, and digital video support Administrative, marketing, registration, and student-support assistance Instructor onboarding and training A flexible opportunity to teach without leaving your current electrical career Growth opportunities for instructors Required qualifications Residence in the Wilmington/Cape Fear area or the ability to commute reliably to Wilmington Active Unlimited Electrical License from North Carolina Strong working knowledge of the 2020 and 2023 National Electrical Codes and practical electrical field experience Reliable, professional, safety-minded, and comfortable working with active electricians Ability to teach in person and, when needed, by Zoom Willingness to complete a brief teaching demonstration Teaching or training experience is preferred but not required. We train knowledgeable electrical professionals who have the communication skills and enthusiasm to become excellent instructors.
