SMA is seeking a dedicated individual to primarily be responsible for maintaining various facilities and overall appearance/upkeep of our property and assets.
Essential Job Tasks:
Complete work orders assigned with your best effort and in a timely, customer-friendly manner Prepare and load all equipment and materials necessary for assigned tasks Complete planning, preparation, and tasks for upcoming events as made known Maintain an inventory of tools, hardware, and supplies assigned to you Adhere to all safety principles, expectations, schedules, and procedures provided Complete all paperwork - time cards, task reports Unload, clean, maintain, and store all tools and equipment after use Report any damaged or broken equipment Assist with emergency repairs, such as broken water lines, as needed Observe all prescribed safety precautions while performing your duties Analyze and evaluate the cost and supplies needed for each job, and inform your supervisor Exercise good practices while completing your work Keep all work areas clean and safe Perform other duties as assigned
Compensation:
Starting $15/hour
Target Start:
August 1st
Shift:
7:30 am -4:00 pm Requirements High school diploma or GED Experience in the specific skill hired for (HVAC, painting, plumbing, electrical) Knowledge of safety principles Basic electrical skills and safety Fluent in English Ability to work with others and follow directions Ability to lift at least 60 lbs.
Special Requirements:
Flexible hours to include some weekends as specified Exposure to sunlight Exposure to adverse weather conditions
